Crunch Time
From time to time, my schedule becomes dangerously crowded. Now is such a time.
I’d love to tell you what I’m working on, but I can’t so instead, I will briefly (it is crunch time) report on how I manage my time under these circumstances.
1) Don’t answer the phone. This is what voicemail is for. If it’s a dire emergency, they will call back or leave a message.
2) Shut off email. I can’t go long without email. Instead of silencing it all day, I check it at specific times, usually in the morning, lunch, afternoon, and right before bed.
3) Avoid Twitter and Facebook. A quick check for birthdays is all I have time for. Everything else can wait.
4) No extraneous projects. All side tasks end. No campaign prep, no game prep. Nothing.
5) Cool it with the booze. No drinking until I get back on track.
6) No blogging. Yep. I’m going to go silent until probably Monday.
7) Don’t get sick. I failed on this one. On meds and I’m doing the dance to get over it.
See you on the other side!

We appreciated the effort you put into our evening Rob, and despite it’s brevity it was a great session.
Cuddle up with Max, Ebb, Sausage, and the rest of the pride while you recover.
The love they give will add a + 2 power bonus to your saving throw to end the ongoing 5 ickyness.
Take care my friend.
