Hah! This post made me laugh.

Good luck to those of you working on the new edition. I enjoy 4e but am interested in what changes are in store for the future.

im very, very upset about this and i want someone from wizards to answer some questions re: 4th, specifically will the 4e online tools still be up, will it be supported in the mags or on the website at all after 5th comes out

i hope you guys dont forget some of us love 4e and are not fired up for a new edition. it has only been 4 years. i play retro games already and a rules-lite dnd is not something i need another copy of.

i am a big fan of your writing but would like more info on what is to come of 4th in all this

forth: Schwalb is a freelance, not an actual WotC employee, so he’s not likely to able to answer your questions.

Anyway, as I’ve soured somewhat on 4E, this is exciting news to me. :)

I’m looking forward to the new edition and hoping that some of the 3-4e changes are backed out. Sure, I’m an old school retro guy, but I didn’t need complete balance among the classes. I like that the wizard is frail in the beginning and becomes powerful later. A fighter IS one dimensional. MEDIC!! Those are classic roles that helped build party interdependence, not the jack-of-all-trades-let’s-give-everyone-a-chance-to-pick-that-lock style. A return to classical fantasy. (We also need more adventure modules)
